At times, employers state a salary range and then add DOE to the range, such as £32,500 to £48,750 DOE. This implies that the employer intends to pay somewhere between the stated range; however, the exact amount will depend on the employee's level of experience. If the applicant has a considerable amount of experience, he will expect the offered salary to be toward the higher end of the range.
