Battle.net is a centralised system that allows players to manage any of their Blizzard Entertainment games with one account. Using a single username and password, you can log in to all Blizzard Entertainment games, such as "World of Warcraft" and "Diablo." Battle.net allows you to change your username, password and contact information through its account management system. However, you cannot change your first and last name unless you contact Battle.net customer service. With a valid reason, such as marriage, the name can be changed.
Log in to your Battle.net account. This set of screens provides you with any information you need to fill out the support ticket or speak with a customer service representative.
Contact Battle.net's Account Services department (see Resources). You can use the webform, which is recommended, e-mail the department directly or call to speak with a representative directly.
Provide all details as to why you want or need to change your first name, last name or both. Common reasons include a minor under a parent's name, a name change because of marriage, a misspelling or a legal name change.
Provide details about your account, such as the email address the account is registered under and the full name currently on the account.
Provide the name you want to change your account to. If you want to change only the first name or last name, specify which.
Allow a customer service representative to change the name for you. If you contact Battle.net by e-mail or webform, you will receive a confirmation about the change or a request for more information as soon as possible. If you contact Battle.net by phone, you will be given an estimate of when the change will occur.
If you only want to change your log in name, change your e-mail address under the "Settings" section when you log in to your account.
